At Faith For Life Church we are tremendously blessed. Yet we know that there are significant needs in our community. We believe that the Church is the hope of the world. Therefore we have committed to working with our community AND AROUND THE WORLD
Pastor Roger and Karen Cook discovered their passion for the nations after several trips outside the United States over 30 years ago. In the summer of 1999, they packed up and moved to Fort Worth, enrolling at JSMI School of International Evangelism. After graduation, they formed FWOM, a World Outreach Organization that put boots on the ground, along with working with partner ministries traveling to the world. This resulted in ministry trips to Tanzania, Kenya, Thailand, Myanmar, Honduras, Mexico, Poland, and Albania. Members of their family joined in many of these trips, and together these teams proclaimed and promoted a message of deliverance, prosperity, and healing, using crusades, pastoral conferences, and scheduled ministry in the churches.
We believe that this same passion is embraced and will grow in the membership of Faith for Life Church. As the church body grows in partnership and financial support to various mission ministries, so will the awareness and the passion in many of the members.
Our pastors have long term partnership relationships with multiple international ministries. By partnership, and being ordained though Harvest International Ministries, this fellowship has connected us with likeminded ministries in which opportunities and the paths of which our membership may participate in going to all the world!
All of this provides opportunity for those that would desire to go and help personally, some to support in needed prayer, and to be connected by financial support. We currently support and have opportunity to help in the daily function of, and the building of children’s homes, church planting, and ministry support. All these are opportunities that are available to those that have an outreach mindset that will go beyond what is called home.
The passion continues to increase, and the importance of the times strengthens our resolve and points to the eternal value of the call. Doors are being opened and the love for people fuels the desire to help strengthen pastors, church leadership, and churches themselves wherever we go.
